The Move:
As you are aware, I am trying to raise full-time, ongoing support to serve as a US-based Missionary with Trans World Radio (TWR).
I am currently at 27% of my monthly goal. The 'giving units' that are currently donating include 1 church and 29 individuals/couples. I have many more 'supporters' in spirit, heart and prayer - thank you all so much!
Due to this level of support, TWR have started me at 2-days a week, effective July 1st of this year. This is a great blessing, but also has me in the middle of a bridge, so to speak. It is hard to effectively supplement this work and support, and also have the time and opportunities to continue in outreach and building support. I thought I had a supplementary 3-day/week job offer, but it was just pulled.
Can you join my support team? You know, if I could raise an army of monthly givers at $10 dollars per month, I think amazing things would happen! Let me explain my vision:
With every supporter, no matter how much or little, I believe I have gained not only finances but a prayer partner. And I believe that your prayers are worth more than gold, and open doors for the gospel message to advance! (1 Peter 1:7) Also, I believe with every new supporter, more people share some of the evangelistic materials that the Lord has led me to develop - videos, blog posts, or devotionals. With every and any resource that is shared, an evangelistic message is shared. And so we together advance the gospel across the globe! (1 Cor 3:9)

Background to this Move:
In May of last year, 2017, my wife said to me, 'I think you should approach Trans World Radio (TWR), and see what it might take to work with them.'
Ruthie said this because over the previous 8 years I had become increasingly committed to witnessing and evangelism, costing me 1 full-time job, and then 2 other private contracts (which led to me having to close my own counseling practice). In May of last year, I still had a full-time job teaching, but after 3 short-term mission trips during the year, I was again losing pay from taking too much leave, and using all my free time to share tracts around town, and/or develop online, evangelistic resources - YouTube videos, Insta', Blog posts, Devotionals... Ruthie and I had been introduced to the extraordinary work and opportunities of TWR, their global head office being stationed here in Cary, NC. Their mission over the last 60 years - founded here in NC - was and continues to be to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ, through radio and media. They are now broadcasting into over 200 countries, in over 160 languages. Their work and 'reach' is incredible, and their global headquarters is 10 minutes from my home. I grew up on the mission field, and have a vision for the world, as does TWR. And I use social media almost daily for the gospel, as do TWR. So it felt like a good fit...
Let me just say, from the first day of expressing my interest and exploring opportunities with TWR, the journey has been solid, blessed, productive - but uphill! The Lord has tested my resolve daily, and yet confirmed this path daily. I can't deny the 'map', but from very early on I had to fall back on God's grace in order to press on. (2 Cor 12:9-10) God is doing it, and will do it! (1 Thes 5:24) I am grateful!
